I have had these notes that I collected on my travels sat in a box for years. It's only now that I have come up with a way to creatively display them.

This piece consists of nine real bank notes folded into fish. None of the notes are cut. All could be unfolded back into rectangles. The notes are from Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal, China, Sri Lanka and Laos. (Yes, I have visited all these places).

They are mounted on black card in a way that does not damage the notes. They do NOT come framed, but as you can see in the photos, I think a black frame would look great (and protect them as they are only paper after all).

The notes are used. As I have said, they are things I collected on my travels and carried around with me. Some are dirty, from everyday use. Some are now out of circulation. Their state is as shown in the photos.

This piece would be a great gift for someone who collects money or ephemera, has travelled in Asia, or just has an appreciation for history.
